Deansrath Family Centre

Project overview

Deansrath Family Centre (DFC) has been a cornerstone of support for children and families in Dublin West for over 20 years. Located in an area of high socioeconomic disadvantage, DFC provides essential services to a community facing challenges such as unemployment, single-parent households, low levels of education, and poverty.

We were asked to design and build a website and fundraising brochure to help DFC communicate its mission, showcase its range of services, and drive fundraising efforts for a much-needed new centre. We were inspired by their commitment to early intervention and prevention and were determined to create tools that would amplify their impact.

The website was the heart of this project. It needed to serve multiple audiences: families seeking support, donors looking to contribute, and stakeholders needing information. We designed a site that was clean, accessible, and easy to navigate. Key features included:

  • Service Overview: Clearly outlining the range of services available, including ECCE programs for children with special needs, parenting support, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Fundraising Hub: A dedicated section highlighting the urgent need for a new Centre, complete with emotional appeals, the Logic Model, and a simple donation process.
  • Impact Stories: Testimonials and stories from families who have benefited from DFC’s programs, putting a human face on their work.
  • Optimised User Experience: Mobile-friendly design and intuitive navigation ensured that all visitors, regardless of device, could easily access the information they needed.
