ORPEA Residences Ireland

Project overview

ORPEA Residences Ireland is a large group of nursing homes and homecare businesses situated across Ireland, covering both urban and rural areas. They pride themselves on their high standards of care, services and links with their local communities and other stakeholders such as the HSE and acute hospitals.

We were introduced to them by Brindley Healthcare which became part of Orpea when the latter entered the Irish market in 2022. We were impressed by their vision and ambition. It was clear that they were committed to Ireland and had a long term plan to grow and develop their footprint. They were also very personable and easy to deal with.

They needed a website to showcase all their nursing homes. As such, it is primarily aimed at potential residents and their families who are looking around for a suitable nursing homes. A secondary but important audience for the website are potential staff looking for a suitable place to work and other stakeholders such as the HSE, acute hospitals and healthcare professionals.

From a design perspective, we had to follow the brand guidelines as stipulated by their international office. There were also strict security protocols that the website had to meet. In fact, we had to subject the website to a penetration test by an independent third party before it could go live. Thankfully, it all went smoothly and the website passed with flying colours.
