Shamindra Direkze

Project overview

Dr. Shamindra Direkze is a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist based in Dublin, Ireland. He works out of Blackrock Clinic, Mater Private Hospital and Bon Secours Hospital. He got in touch us a few months ago after he saw a website that we designed for a colleague of his.

He liked our approach and asked us to design a brand identity and website for his practice. Working with Shamindra was a pleasure. He was open to ideas and trusted our experience. The end result was a new logo and online presence that looked very professional, and that he absolutely loved.

Shamindra was keen to have a visual identity that he could claim as his own. Having given it some thought, we designed a logo in the shape of the digestive system and incorporated his initials – SD (Shamindra Direkze). It was a simple idea but worked really well. For colour, we used purple and white – both natural body colours with good shading and contrast.
