Planning 123

Project overview

Planning123 was set up in response to customers looking to get a fast quote for planning services. While most people prefer a registered architect to prepare their planning application, they often struggle to get a timely and competitive quote, and as any business or home owner knows, time is often of the essence.

Planning 123 understands the importance of good design and has a comprehensive understanding of the planning framework, giving customers peace of mind and sound practical advice. They are also a registered architectural practice, offering a full service from design, planning and tender preparation to build and certification. They believe that getting a quote for planning should be a lot easier than heretofore.

We got to know the key people involved (Karen Douglas and Ronan McGee) when working on the website for their original business (DMG Architects). While there are some similarities between the two websites, there are also lots of differences. The Planning 123 website is more sales focused and consumer minded.

As we mentioned in the overview, the website needed to have a definite sales focus. The key objective was to get people to request a quote. We achieved this by simplifying the process and stripping away anything that wasn’t strictly necessary. There’s a page for each of the key areas (e.g. change of use, new builds) as well as customer care and client testimonials. There’s also lots of clean design and bright imagery to instil confidence and guide people along. The client was delighted with the outcome and the feedback from customers has been excellent.

In the clients own words

Engaging Passion for Creative to bring our new brand ideas and service offerings to life was a partnership from the very beginning. They took us on a journey, taking us out of our comfort zones, which made us reflect on our direction and offering for the present and future. This has proved invaluable and given us the confidence to seek out new opportunities as we tell our story to a more captive audience
