BALLYFERMOT LOCAL DRUG & ALCOHOL TASK FORCE

Project overview

Ballyfermot Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force (BLDATF) is one of 12 Local Drug and Alcohol Taskforces around Dublin, which were set up in the late 1990s to address the drug crisis of the time. It is a multi-agency and multi-disciplinary group which supports the funding, activities and development of a range of substance misuse and rehabilitation services as well as related community, family and child intervention services across the area.

Our paths crossed when we completed the new branding and website for Liffey Partnership (formerly Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership). They liked the work we had done and our approach to working with community organisations such as theirs, where meaningful collaboration is so important. We were delighted to get involved and lend our expertise. They were a pleasure to deal with.

They wanted a nice simple website, nothing too wordy or flashy. The key was to make their services easy to find and understand. We did this by placing them front and centre on the home page and using lots of colour and clean graphics. There isn’t a lot of content, which is great, so visitors aren’t distracted by unnecessary information. The website is uncluttered and focused.

In the client's own words

Ballyfermot Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force used Passion for Creative for their new website. While we had a functioning website, it was outdated and clumsy. Passion took their understanding of our needs and coupled with direct input from us, created a website of which we can be very proud. The functionality is vastly improved, and the appearance is much more appealing and user friendly. As a company, Passion are very professional. What particularly stood out for me was their patience. We are a busy organisation, with very few staff. They understood this and gave us the space we needed. We are over the moon with the final product.
