Eagle Lodge

Project overview

Eagle Lodge is one of Ireland’s leading cardiology clinics. Established in 1989 by Dr John Clarke, it provides a wide range of cardiac services, from echocardiograms and exercise stress tests to hospital procedures and post-op care. It has clinics in Limerick (Eagle Lodge), Kilkenny (Aut Even Hospital) and Dublin (Hermitage Clinic).

They asked us to revamp their branding and website, to inject a bit of life into both, and to convey to patients and GP’s that they have the required expertise and experience to deal with all their cardiac needs, in a profession and personal manner.

There was a lot discussion at the start about the name and logo. It was decided to stick with the current name because of its familiarity and resonance with people. As for the logo, we recommended a simple refresh as opposed to a complete re-design. We saw no need to start from scratch and create something radically different. We just needed to modernise their existing logo and make it more vibrant and contemporary.
