There were essentially two websites in one – a public facing website and a private members area. We designed and built both from scratch, in WordPress, working with the new brand guidelines, creating new content and migrating old content. The public facing website is geared towards people looking for a nursing home as well as government bodies and media organisations. The private members area is for NHI members and contains various resources such as webinars, publications, latest news and other information.
Bright, colourful, fully responsive and easy to navigate, the new website is a big improvement on the previous website which had become dull and dated. When it was unveiled at their AGM, the new website was warmly received by all members. It has a gone long way to refreshing their image and message. From a photography viewpoint, we were able to source sufficiently suitable library images to give the website an authentic appearance. Also, by avoiding headshots for the ‘Meet the Team’ page, we gave them fewer things to update anytime a new staff member joins the organisation.
In the clients own words
We worked with Passion for Creative to develop a more modern website. Our digital identity is anchored heavily by our website and we are delighted with the look and feel of the new site. It is important now that websites are aesthetically fresh and easy to navigate and we are happy that our new site succeeds in fulfilling these criteria. The new website brings includes a new Members Area, which has undergone a re-design to ensure that member resources are easily retrievable through a more streamlined approach to the categorisation of files.
