Project overview

RossDoc is an appointment only, urgent care service based in New Ross, Co. Wexford where all patients are seen by experienced local GPs. They treat patients who are currently unwell and who need medical care but may not have access to their own (or any) GP. Appointments are for current acute illnesses only and can be made up to three days in advance. Sick certs, prescriptions and letters for A&E can be issued, as required.

We already knew the main people involved from a previous project, so when the opportunity arose to work with them again, we were delighted to do so. They were great to work with – very enthusiastic and engaged. They believed there was a gap in the market for the service they were offering, and we agreed. The challenge was to distil their thinking and communicate their vision in a simple, easy to follow website.

New Website

They wanted a nice simple website – with minimal fuss – where patients could make an appointment and pay online. There was no need for multiple pages and lots of content. We just built a single-page website with a brief overview of who they are and what they do – clean and concise.

For appointment booking, we integrated a feature called Calendly which allows patients to select the date and time that best suits them and then pay online before attending. For the design, we incorporated the logo they supplied us, adjusting it slightly and expanding the colour scheme. The reaction was hugely positive – from patients and staff.
