Project overview

Kollect is a waste collection company, with a difference. They’re young, smart and techie, and have big plans to shake up the industry. Based in Waterford, they are growing rapidly and already have operations in all the main Irish cities. As it happens, we’re in the same building so we got to know them over conversations in the corridor and canteen. They needed help with their logo design, brand guidelines and everything from decal stickers for rubbish bins to the lorries themselves. We had lots of fun with this project. The client gave us a great brief and lots of creative freedom.

Once the new logo and brand guidelines were in place, we set about designing a whole suite of new graphics for the website. They had their own in-house web developer, so they didn’t need us to build the pages; they just needed our design expertise on how best to visually represent their different customers and service types. We designed over 100 graphics in all, each of them following the house style we established as part of the new brand guidelines.

We have been working with Passion for a year now and are more than happy with the results. Initially they developed our corporate identity and branding. Lately they have been working with us on our website. Passion understood our brief, and with the allocated budget, have achieved all our objectives, and beyond. I love the flexibility they offer and the speed with which we can get additional work done.
