Waldron Family Meats

Project overview

Waldron Meats are a family run business based in the heart of the countryside in Co. Roscommon. They cure, produce and distribute a wide range of tasty products, including pork, bacon, sausages, puddings and cooked meats across Ireland. Perfecting their craft for over three decades, they have won several prestigious awards including Blas na hEireann and Great Taste Awards. We got to know them in 2022 when they contacted us for a quote. We liked the cut of their jib and were delighted to get the gig. They were a pleasure to deal with and the end-result was a huge success.

Their previous website wasn’t too bad, but it was a little lack lustre and needed more punch. After speaking with them, we realised they were hiding their light under a bushel. The products needed to be displayed more visually and the brand story needed to be front and centre to pull people in. With their agreement, we re-built the website from scratch using fresh content and lots of fresh imagery.

There was also a new video commissioned which auto-plays on the home page and gives the viewer a guide into Waldron’s daily appreciation of good food production. We built the website in WordPress and used WooCommerce for the online shop. Orders can now be placed online – delivered promptly and well packaged the next day straight to your door.
